 AFM ASIAN FILM MARKET
- The Asian Film Market holds its 3rd edition from Oct. 3 to 6, 2008.
Launched as the comprehensive marketplace of the array of industry events of Pusan International Film Festival in 2006, the Asian Film Market laid a cornerstone to be the hub of Asian film industry with 460 companies, organizations and institutes participating from across the world last year. The PPP, or Pusan Promotion Plan, also had its 10th anniversary as a chance to lay eyes on the past endeavors made to the developments of Asian cinema and promise another decade of its dedication to the region.
 

This year, the Asian Film Market will save no efforts to create more business-friendly environment by improving facilities of Sales Offices and Market Screenings, at the same time carving the platform to produce the maximum marketing opportunities for participants. Especially the Market will also do the best to support the Korean cinema as it is about to rise to the international stage once again. By crafting existing industry events PPP, the largest project market in Asia, BIFCOM, a must-attend location & equipments expo, and the Star Summit Asia, a showcase for talents and managements, the new 2008 edition will see the Market be a place to discuss the future of the Asian Cinema and eventually contribute to the progress of it.
